As a live aboard you are saved the problems of setting up camps and all the logistical problems associated. Your indirect costs are minimised and you can focus on the real business of the expedition. We can supply all food and supplies as well as a cook and within the constraints of running Talisker are available as extra hands for your projects. Talisker is fitted with continuous 230 volt power, deep freeze and dive compressor. Talisker is also the economical "Water Taxi" option for mid expedition crew changes for larger parties.

As one time Officer in Charge, NZ Forest Service, Stewart Island Peter was involved in several research expeditions around Stewart Island and can offer constructive assistance in helping you plan your project. His experience in running expeditions indicates that projects are considerably more efficient if run from a comfortable base and members certainly appreciate Lunchcoming back each evening to hot showers, a hot meal cooked for them and comfortable dry beds. You will appreciate being able to write up the days notes directly onto your portable PC and not worry about flattening the batteries.
